Join us for the 2nd Annual Cross Creek Country Club Dog Show! Everyone is invited, admission is free (you must be a CCCC member to enter your dog in the fashion show). This year's events will include an Adoption fair, Kids vs. K-9's Relay race, Flyball demo, Dog washing station, Agility demo, Police K-9 demo, Q&A session with local veterinarians, and much, much more!! A silent auction will be held during this event with 100% of the proceeds going to the rescue! Be sure to mark your calendars :-)

We will have White Willie's BBQ, Tropical Ice, and a coffee booth as well! In addition, there will be a classic car cruise-in at the new Depot 66 Consignment and Vendor mall right up the street from Junkies!!!

Cintas Walking Waggles 5K/10K for Yveddi

This is a fundraiser for Yveddi Meals on Wheels. It is a 5K that starts at 8 am and a 10K that starts at 8:15 am. Pets are welcome to walk/run. Dogs must be vaccinated, spayed/neutered and supervised on a leash at all times. Surry Animal Rescue will be accepting food donations. Any leashes, collars and harnesses would be greatly appreciated.

Dog Wash

It's here the first SAR Dog Wash of the 2017 Summer Season. Come join us for fun and fellowship at Tractor Supply on US 601/Rockford St. Dog wash will begin 10AM til 3PM . We will be offering the traditional groom which includes bath, blow dry, comb out, and your choice of cologne. We are priced by dog size Small dogs are $8, Medium $10, and Large $15. In addition we will also offer Nail trim and Ear cleaning for $5. All dogs must have proof of rabies vaccination and be leashed at all times for your safety and the safety of the animal. We will also be offering concessions, Hot Dogs, Soda, and Water. Hot Dogs are $2 with your choice of chili, onion, slaw, relish, mustard, ketchup, and mayonnaise. Soda and Water $1. A raffle will be available for a $1 a ticket and will be drawn at the end of the event.

Doggie Swim Day

Reeves Community Center is letting us use their outdoor pool so doggies can have fun swimming. It is $5 per dog to join this event.
You must have proof of current Rabies Vaccine.
Dogs only in the pool during the event.
Humans will be asked to sign a waiver.
Your dog must be able to get along with other dogs in a friendly manner.

Join us for our 2nd annual pet walk “PAWS in the Vineyard!” Registration is $10 per pet. Registration begins at 10:30am on April 27th. The walk will start at 11:00am and will wind through the beautiful Round Peak Vineyards in Mt. Airy, NC. After your walk we invite you to sit and relax with us at the vineyard. Food, drinks, beer and wine will be available for purchase. All proceeds will be donated to local pet adoption agencies and animal shelters. There will be dogs up for adoption onsite the day of the walk. Please mark your calendars now and attend this fun event!
