Hounds, Hunks & Honey's Fashion Show

K-9 Doggie Bakery and Boutique is having a " Hounds, Hunks, and Honeys" Fashion Show/ Silent Auction which is set for Sat. Sept. 25th at 2:00 in the courtyard in front of the store in Reynolda Village ( which is just down the street from Wake Forest University). This is to benefit Fur-Ever Friends/ Rico Fund. All money raised from the Silent Auction will go to the Rico Fund! The Fashion Show includes clothing from several stores in the Village as well as Doggie clothes. We would appreciate peoples cooperation by not bringing their pets to the show unless they want to make a donation of at least $25.00 to the Rico Fund. That will let their pet walk down the runway with one of our " Hunks or Honeys".
We have some great Silent auction items like jewelry and a purse from Monkees, Wake Forest tickets,Mens Bow Tie, Needlepoint dog carrier, Dog bed, Basket of doggie goodies, 1 week of FREE workouts from Metabolic Effect, and several other items!

Hey all you pet lovers, get ready for another howling-good time at our annual Dogoween costume contest on Saturday October 30, 2010 at Pet Supplies Plus, 2812 Reynolda Road in Winston-Salem. Dress up your pet dog, cat, monkey, elephant (you get the idea) for a chance to win $1,000! We'll have other great prizes for contestants like a $500 Hernandez Carpet Cleaning gift certificate, $100 Lowe's Foods gift certificate and lots more!
Costume contests will run each hour at approximately 11:00am, 12:00PM AND 1:00PM. But, you'll need to be there ready to go and signed up at least fifteen minutes before the judging begins.
We will have dogs there for adoption dressed up in their costumes!!

The Dog Wash will be held in front of Petsense. We will also be having a hot dog and bake sale. There will be individual desserts as well as whole ones for those that are interested. This is for a Girl Scout troop's community service project so that they can earn their bronze award. This is the highest award that a Junior Girl Scout can earn. All of the proceeds will be donated to Surry Animal Rescue.
The Dog Wash consists of a bath, toe nails trimmed, brushing and drying. Your dog will also get a scarf, spray cologne, if wanted, and a goodie bag.
The prices are $8 for small and medium sized dogs and $10 for large dogs.
Please come out and help us with two very deserving causes.

The Ruby Tuesday Community GiveBack Program offers a charitable donation to local organizations that host a dining event at any of their 700 plus locations. Surry Animal Rescue will be hosting a dining event 2/22/13-2/23/13!! Ruby Tuesday will donate 20% of the net sales from guests that bring in a GiveBack flyer for our event during these days. All you have to do is dine at Ruby Tuesday's in Mt. Airy on 2/22 or 2/23! Present the flyer and our rescue gets money! Simple as that. Flyers will be distributed around the area and will also be posted on Facebook and our website for you to print and take with you. Flyers MUST be presented when you dine in order for your meal to count towards a donation to our rescue. Please come out and dine to support us!

This is a fundraiser for Yveddi Meals on Wheels. It is a 5K that starts at 8 am and a 10K that starts at 8:15 am. Pets are welcome to walk/run. Dogs must be vaccinated, spayed/neutered and supervised on a leash at all times. Surry Animal Rescue will be accepting food donations. Any leashes, collars and harnesses would be greatly appreciated.
