Virginia Slim is a 1 year old lab/Vizsla mix.  She is very skinny and weighs 33.4 pounds right now.

Virginia was found in a tobacco field, barely surviving.  The lady that found her called us in a panic because they were spraying the fields the next day.  One of our volunteers rushed out to get her and bring her to the vet's office.

Virginia Slim is the sweetest girl!!!  She is very shy and will have her tail tucked and her head down when you meet her. As soon as she knows that you won't hurt her the tail starts coming up and she starts to move in for some kisses.

She is heartworm negative, but is being treated for some hook and whip worms.  She will be spayed soon and is ready for a home where all she will know is love!!
