Zane is a very special boy who needs a chance with a real family.  He is 2 years old and weighs 54 pounds.

He was found in very bad shape, he had been attacked by another dog or maybe a coyote?  His wounds were so bad that he would have died if the nice person who found him didn't rush him to the vet's office.

Zane looks like he may have been tied out at one time because he has multiple scars on him from being attacked other times.  We tried to find an owner, but we feel that he may have been dumped out at this time.

Zane is wonderful with humans and we will still need to try him with other dogs, cats and kids when he is feeling better.  He is at the vet's office and is doing ok with the dogs there even though we don't let him get face to face with any of them until he feels safe.

Zane had multiple drains in his legs and neck to help drain the wounds.  He is now healed and is a very sweet and loving boy.

We are slowly introducing him to other dogs.  He does well with small dogs and he is going to be introduced to large dogs one on one soon.
