Cocoa is a 2 year old Tibetan Spaniel, he weighs about 10 pounds. He was released by his owners because of a job that would keep them away from home too long. Cocoa is a sweet boy with a good temperment. He is cheerful, charming, very clever and trusting.
Tibetan Spaniels are good family dogs who are independent and loyal. They are average shedders year round and their hair will come out in clumps once a year. Cocoa seems to do okay with dogs if they are not in his face. We have not tested him with kids or cats yet. We feel that he would do better in a home with older children. He is timid when first meeting people, but will warm up quickly.
This breed is over 2000 years old, they are descended from dogs from China. They were said to watch over the Monks in the monasteries.
If you are interested in meeting Cocoa please fill out an application from our website.
Cocoa's adoption donation is $275. He is up to date on all shots, neutered, heartworm tested, on heartworm and flea medications and has a microchip.
