Abigail Grace (Abi) was discovered lying alone in a roadside ditch when she was around 16 weeks old.  We believe someone had dumped Abi there and left her to fend for herself.  She stayed there for several hours until help arrived and she was swept up into the loving arms of local good samaritan!  She was emaciated and scared, but she was alive!  

Abigail Grace is now a healthy and happy 2 year old.  She has put her past life behind her and lives in the here and now.  Abi is an American Staffordshire Terrier (AmStaff) and weighs around 70 pounds. 

Abigail Grace is energetic, athletic, and very strong...not to mention absolutely gorgeous!  She does well with other dogs and with children, but due to her strength and energy level, would do best in a home without small dogs or small children as she could accidentally injure them during playtime. 

Abi is extremely social and prefers to be around people whenever possible.  She craves interaction with her humans and is a great, loyal, attentive companion!  Abi loves to play with her toys and also enjoys playing with her foster brother Major (also up for adoption). 

Although Abi is energetic, she still enjoys lounging on the couch and chewing on her favorite Nylabone.  She is also an excellent snuggle puppy and a great foot warmer!!  Her favorite treat is her Kong filled with yummy peanut butter!
