Hello -- My name is Brandy-Lynn!  I adore my human companions and will follow them everywhere!  My foster mom has a hard time saying "no" to me because of my big brown eyes that melt her heart. 

I get along well with all my foster doggie siblings and even chase after them in the yard.  I also like chasing toys in the house, but after playtime, I need a soft place to nap!  

I prefer a quiet household because I'm a quite little girl.  I'm a little shy around new people but that doesn't last long.  My all time favorite past time is lounging with my human companions on the couch, the recliner, and in the bed! 

I'm not used to walking on a leash yet, so my foster mom says I need a fenced in yard to go potty and for playtime.  She also says I shouldn't be around small children because they could hurt me since I'm a delicate little girl!  

I have Lyme Disease which is easy to treat, but my former caretakers refused treatment for me.  The Lyme Disease caused my muscles to degenerate and damaged my kidneys.  I know this sounds bad, but I feel great now that I have started a new diet and am taking antibiotics.  I will have more bloodwork drawn on 8/5/11 and this will tell us how I am doing!  I'll be sure to keep you updated!

Update:  My latest bloodwork was great!  The doctor says it looks normal.  However, I have since become very weak in my back legs.  I had a really hard time walking for a couple of days, but I am now able to walk a little better now.  The doctor thinks this could be due to my Lyme Disease, so I have started some new meds to help me.  Keep your fingers crossed!
