We got Richy after he was released to the shelter by his owner.  

Richy is a 2 year old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix weighing in at 14.3 pounds.  Richy is a good dog and we aren't sure why he ended up at the shelter but he will only experience good days from now on.  

He was extremely matted so our vet tech had to shave him down.  He is being treated for a severe skin infection but will be good as new very soon.  Richy would like to have a family that is home often because he loves being with his humans.  

He is good with other dogs and would do well with older children.  He will need some help with potty training when he gets to his new home.
