Huey is an 8 year old Golden Retriever/Chow mix, she weighs 44 pounds currently.  

She was released to us by her owner who gave us 3 different stories about how she got her.  She said she couldn't keep her due to her new landlord saying no animals.  She also told us she was 4 years old and healthy.  Unfortunately this is one of the things that happens in rescue and now we are left with more questions than answers.  

Huey is a female even though the name is masculine, she had horrible teeth so we did a dental on her.  She has cataracts and double ear infections that we are treating.  She has a limp on her back leg that the veterinarians are checking out for us.  

We don't know if she is good with dogs, cats or kids yet but we will test her when she is feeling better.  She is sweet with us and likes to give kisses so that is a plus.
