Maggie is a 2 year old Labrador/Staffordshire mix, she weighs around 50 pounds.
Maggie was found as a stray when she was just a puppy and her foster mom fell in love with her. She loves Maggie with all her heart but Maggie has food and toy aggression and keeps getting into fights with her other dogs. Some of these dogs are special needs and they can't handle Maggie's advances. With a heavy heart we will be looking for a new home for Maggie.
She will definitely need a home without any other animals and no small children. She is wonderful with humans but we have never had her around small kids. Maggie is crate trained and leash trained with a harness. Her foster mom has taught her to sit, lay and is working on wait for treats.
She is very active and loves to run and play. Maggie does get bored easily so she needs a family that is active and will take her on walks or hiking. She loves the jolly balls and the balls with the little balls inside them. She will play fetch with herself, she carries the ball to the top of the hill, lets it roll down, chases it and then brings it back up to do it all over again.
Maggie needs a home with a fenced yard and a who lot of love. Please fill out an application if you would like to meet Maggie.
