Bentley is a 1 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd mix.  He currently weighs 62.4 pounds.  He is an owner release due to his owner's illness.  

Bentley is a gorgeous dog and he loves to give hugs once he gets to know you.  He will need to learn basic commands and have work on house training.  He has been around other dogs and his owner said he was ok, but he is not doing good with other dogs at the kennel.  It could be being on a leash or the fact that there are crates so we really can't fully analyze him until he is in a foster or forever home.  So at this point we have to say that he would be best as an only dog.    

Bentley will need someone who is experienced with large breed dogs and have an active family. He needs a fenced yard for when he is outdoors playing.
