Hunter is a 3 year old Sheltie/Terrier mix, he only weighs 18 pounds. Hunter is very shy when you first meet him but within about 3 minutes he will be giving you kisses if he feels he can trust you. He was found in someone's garage looking for food. He had been wandering from house to house in that neighborhood looking for help.
Hunter is great with other dogs and children. He does need a fenced yard because he loves to run out his energy without a leash. It seems that Hunter has never met a toy before, but is figuring out that he really loves them. His foster mom is making sure he has plenty to play with.
So far he is doing great with house training and letting someone know he needs to go out. We feel that Hunter's perfect family would be someone who is home more often, he loves to follow his foster mom around and be involved in everything she is doing.
