Hello, my name is Tuffy, I’m an 11 year old male Pomeranian. I’m searching for my furever home! I need someone to open up their heart and home to me. I would prefer a patient couple or single human, who will devote their love and time to me. But I can be in a home with older children too. As you can see, my name fits me, I’ve had a “tuff” period in my life but I’ve overcame that…thanks to all the nice people with Surry Animal Rescue. Humans may have been mean to me in my past  but I don’t hold that against all of them. I love cuddling my foster Mom and Dad, so I do trust humans again, I’ve really came a very long way. After all, I am man’s best friend   Some of my favorite past times are chilling out in my bed or couch, being held, eating breakfast and dinner, lots of treats, and long back rubs. I even like to break out in a little dance sometimes if I’m feeling spunky.. AND I still get the zoomies like a young whipper snapper! I do take anti-inflammatories on a daily basis for my arthritis, but I’m sure some of you can relate   Oh, and don’t sneak up on me, with my limited eyesight I do get startled easily and might growl or show my teeth. My foster parents are working with me on potty training. I have been trained previously to use puppy pads, which I use, but they are working with me to only go potty outside. I have a large boxer foster sister and a small dachshund foster brother and 3 beautiful kitty foster sisters. I get along with all of them wonderfully! Please don’t overlook me because you wish I was a few years younger or if I didn’t have such a rough past or my arthritis, none of that is my fault... I need you in my life and you need me too, you’ll see. Waiting patiently at my foster parent’s house to meet you.
