Sam is a 3 year old lab mix and he currently weighs 65 pounds.  

He was living chained up without much human contact his entire life.  When his "owner" went to get him for his rescuers he hunkered down in fear.  He was afraid, no doubt, but he doesn't have to be afraid anymore.  

Sam is a big love bug, his tail hasn't stopped wagging since he was rescued.  He is up to date on shots, was heart worm negative so he is on preventives now, he has been neutered and received a micro chip.  He is ready to go to his new home!!

Sam loves to play fetch, enjoys going for walks and loves to run in a fenced yard or dog park.  He is currently making good progress learning how to walk on a leash.  He is smart and trainable.  He learned "sit" in one day. He is house trained and is great with kids and other dogs, what more could you ask for??
