Josie is a 9 year old Pomeranian, she weighs 8.3 pounds.  She was released to us by her owner who couldn't care for her anymore.

She was covered in fleas and had not received vet care.  Josie has bad glaucoma in her left eye, we are treating her with eye drops so hopefully we can help it.

Josie is a very sweet girl and has a spunky attitude.  She would love a new home where someone is around often and able to care for her needs.

We had Josie spayed and after the surgery she developed a cough.  She was diagnosed with an enlarged heart.  We have started her on medication for this and she is doing better.  She will have to be on this medication for the rest of her life. Josie developed some lumps on her belly a couple weeks ago, we had them removed and one was cancer.  The Dr did remove all of the cancer and we are keeping a close eye on her in case any other lumps come up.
