Tiger was found on a rainy day, wet as a fish, covered with fleas in a friend’s wood pile. We immediately shampooed to rid him of the fleas and left him with another friend who had a spare room and cage till his first vet appointment a week later on July 16, 2014. The vet estimated he was 8 weeks old. We have no idea who he belonged to. He had worms, ear mites and an infected eye, and weighed 1.4 pounds. Later I took him in as a foster with my other two foster cats Sweetie and Precious. On his next vet appointment, August 6th, the eye infection was cured and he started his shots and tested negative for feline leukemia and the heart worm snap test. He then weighed 2.6 pounds. His next appointment for the final round of shots is August 27th. He won’t able to be neutered until he is 5 months old.
He is an energetic, fearless kitten “playfully attacking” my two larger cats that weigh about 12 pounds each. He runs everywhere at full speed and tries to climb all kinds of furniture. He is learning to hold back his claws and bites when playing with humans. He is an indoor kitten who needs a home where he will get love and attention.
